We are looking for an experienced DevOps engineer to join our team and help us build the most advanced digital health platform and technological solutions on the market that already support over 30 million patients across more than 20 markets worldwide.

What will be your typical to-do list?

  • Implement development, testing, and automation tools, as well as IT infrastructure.
  • Maintain Better’s virtualised infrastructure (VMware/Azure) and development servers (git, CI), ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
  • Work with product teams to develop automated product deployments, updates, and identify production issues.
  • Take care of Better private cloud and domain servers, including data backup management.
  • Encourage and build automated processes wherever possible.
  • Ensure information security, applying standards and best practices.
  • Develop monitoring solutions and dashboards.
  • Help with software upgrades.
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues.
  • Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.

What skills and expertise do we expect from you?

  • Work experience as a Sysadmin/DevOps engineer or similar software engineering role.
  • Good knowledge of cloud technologies and providers (Azure is a plus).
  • Experience with scripting (such as Bash or Python or Go).
  • Experience with Linux.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Active knowledge of the English language, both written and verbal.
