As a UX designer, you will play a key role in shaping intuitive digital tools for healthcare professionals. You will translate complex clinical workflows into clear, efficient, and user-friendly experiences that support safe and effective patient care. Working closely with product managers, engineers, and clinicians, you’ll ensure that real-world user needs drive the design process and guide how our products evolve.

In a nutshell you are:

  • A pragmatic creator: You design solutions that balance user needs with business goals and technical constraints, creating wireframes, mockups, interactive prototypes, and detailed design specifications.
  • A collaborative communicator: You work closely with cross-functional teams, share your design process openly, and confidently present and defend your design decisions.
  • A continuous learner: You stay curious, learn from usability testing and research, and continuously improve your design practice.

Your core responsibilities will be:

  • Design and prototyping:
    • Design and prototype new features in Figma using our design system, while applying principles from Material guidelines.
    • Work across a range of products:
      • Low-code tool for configuring and managing clinical forms
      • Clinical portals providing core platform features
      • Specialised clinical modules for nurses, doctors, and pharmacists
    • Provide developers with well-documented design specifications and hand-offs.
  • Collaboration and communication:
    • Work closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and clinicians to align designs with user needs, technical feasibility, and business goals.
    • Share your design process openly, participate in weekly design reviews and critiques, and present your work clearly to stakeholders.
  • User research and usability:
    • Plan and run usability tests with healthcare professionals and translate findings into actionable design improvements.
    • Document research results and communicate insights to the wider team.
    • Build domain knowledge of healthcare workflows and apply it to design decisions.

Skills and experience we are looking for:

  • Mid- to senior-level UX designer with experience in end-to-end product design
  • Proficiency in Figma and experience working with design systems
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Proactive and detail-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and initiative
  • Experience designing for healthcare setting is a plus
