Modernisation of the Electronic Health Record

The Christie NHS Foundation Trust is the largest single site cancer centre in Europe treating more than 60,000 patients a year. Due to its pioneering treatments for cancer, it is the first UK centre to be accredited as a comprehensive cancer centre.

The Christie is adopting a platform-based approach and moving to a data-centric model with openEHR at the core.
Better’s low code tools, an integral part of Better’s digital health platform, are used to support the modernisation of The Christie’s Electronic Health Record and the transformation of clinical, patient, and cancer research services.

The Christie team developed a suite of 24 ePROMs forms using Better low-code tools in just 4 months. They are now starting to work on reengineering the 683 forms in their current EHR platform.
