Better has been listed on G-Cloud 15 (G15), the Crown Commercial Service’s latest framework for public sector cloud procurement. The listing gives central government departments, local authorities, and NHS bodies a pre-approved route to buy Better’s products directly, without running a full tender for each purchase.
G-Cloud 15 runs from September 2026 to September 2030 and is the first version of the framework launched under the Procurement Act 2023. It is structured across five lots (1a, 1b, 2a, 2b, and 3) and is estimated to be worth £16.8 billion over its lifetime, covering cloud hosting, software, and support services bought across the public sector.
For Better, the listing formalises a route into the NHS and public sector that the company has spent over a decade building relationships with. Public procurement in health and care can take months to run through a full tender, but G15 removes that step for buyers who already know what they want, allowing them to move straight to a contract.
“Being listed on G-Cloud 15 means public sector buyers can bring Better on board through a process they already trust, without waiting for a tender cycle to catch up with their demanding timelines,” said Helen McClorry, Head of Bids and Social Value, Better UK & Ireland. “For NHS teams and local authorities working to real deadlines, that’s often the difference between a project starting this year or next.”
The framework also raises the compliance bar for suppliers. Cyber Essentials Plus is now mandatory for Lots 1a and 1b, with standard Cyber Essentials required across Lots 2a, 2b and 3. Better already holds both certifications, alongside a wider set of accreditations it maintains as standard practice, giving buyers visibility into its security and governance standing early in the procurement process, especially for higher-value lots where this can affect eligibility.
G15’s evaluation model also scores social value alongside quality and price. Better’s existing social value record, including its Disability Confident Committed accreditation, carries directly into its supplier submissions under the framework.
