Chief Product Officer
At Better, we have always tried to challenge the status quo in healthcare IT. We have shown what is possible when technology is done with purpose – from pioneering the adoption of openEHR to building innovative tools that help clinicians improve patient outcomes and envisioning the Postmodern EHRs.
So far, we have had an amazing journey, and I believe the sky is the limit. But growth inevitably includes change. To scale effectively, deliver even greater value, and really fulfil our mission, we have decided to turn to the product organisation.
Why? To build better products for our customers.
The healthcare landscape is complex and ever-changing, and our customers need solutions that solve real problems, deliver measurable outcomes, and adapt to their needs. A product organisation makes it possible for teams to focus on outcomes rather than outputs, promoting a culture of collaboration, ownership, and customer-centricity.
Our new structure also presents a mind shift.
We are moving from business units to product verticals, each led by capable teams with the autonomy to innovate and the clarity to stay aligned with our vision and goals. Our four core products – Data core, EHR Studio, Better Meds, and Clinical, each have their own lifecycle, and we have three new core roles – CPO, CTO, and CINO, that will provide coordinated guidance while empowering individual teams to own their outcomes.
At the heart of this transformation is our commitment to listening.
To our customers, our partners, and each other. By understanding the issues that matter most, we can and will continue to create solutions that make healthcare systems more efficient, providers more confident, and patients better cared for.
Embarking on this journey, I expect challenges, but I am confident that nothing is impossible with the right team. Together, we will continue building products that not only meet the needs of today’s healthcare providers but also shape the future of the industry.
I am looking forward to making a real difference in healthcare – together.
