Better and QuantumNexis partner to advance openEHR-driven digital health solutions

Better

QuantumNexis will join the Better Partner Development Programme and use the Better Platform to explore, develop, and deploy openEHR-based solutions across hospitals and healthcare networks, bringing greater interoperability, data standardisation, and patient-centred innovation. This is a significant milestone in QuantumNexis’ mission to advance digital health innovation and expand its presence across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.

A partnership for the future

Through the Better Partner Development Programme, QuantumNexis will integrate the Better Platform into its innovation roadmap, with a view to implementing next-generation systems in hospitals across its target markets. The company will use the Better Platform, including the clinical data repository (CDR), open data services, and low-code development tools (Better Studio), as a foundational layer for new or enhanced modules. Better will also provide training, onboarding, architectural alignment, and technical enablement.

Together, Better and QuantumNexis will identify pilot hospital sites where the integrated solution will be tested, validated, and refined. With QuantumNexis’s AI capabilities, the partnership could overlay predictive analytics, decision support, and generative intelligence over a robust, openEHR-based clinical data backbone. While initial pilots may be focused in markets where QuantumNexis already operates (such as India, Southeast Asia, or Middle East), the partnership is geared toward scalability and further geographic expansion.

Bringing cutting-edge digital health solutions to emerging markets

We are thrilled to welcome QuantumNexis into our Partner Development Programme and to collaborate on advancing openEHR adoption,” said Petar Abadžić, International Markets Director at Better. “With healthcare systems rapidly evolving, this partnership demonstrates how open data standards and modern platform technology can enable innovation at scale. We aim to support healthcare providers in building systems that are interoperable, future-proof, and focused on patient outcomes,” he added.

This collaboration reflects our shared vision of transforming healthcare delivery globally,” said Suresh Venkatachari, Chairman of QuantumNexis. “By combining QuantumNexis’ innovation and execution capabilities with the robust Better platform, we are uniquely positioned to bring cutting-edge digital health solutions to emerging markets and make a meaningful impact on patient care.”
