We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our HR team at Better!
 
Better is at the heart of reshaping healthcare across the world. Our digital health platform and applications are simplifying work for health and care teams based on open data for life. Our software already supports over 30 million patients and more than 1000 healthcare institutions in the UK, Germany, Russia, New Zealand, Finland, Slovenia, and others.
 
You can imagine how important it is for us to have a strong HR team to find the right people for the right positions, enable them to succeed, and of course to take care of their well-being. This is where you come in as our new Talent Acquisition Specialist. If you are empathetic, efficient, and passionate about all things HR, we will be more than happy to have you on our team!
 
Your responsibilities:
 
  • Your main focus will be the recruitment of new coworkers in 3 markets (Slovenia, UK, and Germany), including profile definition, candidate sourcing, and driving the process of selection in collaboration with our team leads, managers, and experts
  • Finding the best channels and collaborating with marketing to target quality candidates
  • Ensuring the best possible candidate experience by following our main recruitment values - empathy, authenticity, and timeliness 
  • Actively using our applicant tracking system and reporting on recruitment activities to the management
  • Planning and coordinating onboarding activities for our new hires and making sure their first days at Better run smoothly
  • Helping with HR administration, including managing our HR information system, document preparation, taking care of medical exams, occupational safety, regular training sessions, etc.
  • Collaborating with the HR team, office management, and marketing to organise team events and initiatives, such as wellbeing activities, employee gifts, parties, etc. 
 
Experience and skills:
 
  • Proven experience with recruitment (IT sector experience is a plus)
  • Organisation and coordination skills and, most of all, the ability to drive HR processes across different teams
  • A sense of ownership, self-initiative, and persistence
  • Excellent verbal and written English and Slovene language
  • Computer skills and ability to adopt new technology quickly
  • Empathy, great communication skills, and trustworthiness
  • Accuracy and a detail-oriented mindset
  • Growth mindset and a passion for all things HR
