We are looking for an experienced Bid Manager to join our fast-growing team!

As the UK & Ireland Bid Manager, you will create and oversee our numerous bids, making sure our proposals are compliant, detailed, and persuasive. You will operate in a lead position which will involve undertaking the entire bidding process from opportunity identification through to project delivery. This requires a combination of excellent communication skills, commercial thinking, and attention to detail and quality.

Responsibilities of this role:
  • Ensuring timely delivery of compliant and commercially sound bids
  • Identifying opportunities for submitting bids
  • Keeping up to date with industry trends, regulations, and legislation
  • Devising a successful strategy for winning the bids, including pinpointing the key differentiators, and understanding our clients’ specific requirements
  • Working with key members of the product teams and the client organisation to obtain the information required to compile the bid
  • Tracking costs and managing the bid budget
  • Researching current and future market trends
  • Responding to clients’ and other stakeholders’ queries before, during, and after the bid has been submitted
  • Overseeing the team during the bid process and making sure deadlines are met
  • If the bid is successful, briefing the teams who will carry out the project work

Technical skills & experience:
  • An understanding of UK healthcare system
  • Proven capability in delivering winning product or complex services opportunities
  • At least 3-year experience with bid campaign management from opportunity identification through to project delivery
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative and innovative thinking
  • Relationship-building and influencing skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to challenging deadlines
  • Commercial thinking
  • Critical thinking skills to recommend original and productive ideas
